This policy explains how Meshable (Meshable Sdn Bhd 202601014000) collects and uses personal data, in line with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and, for customers in Singapore, Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
What we collect
- When you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email: your name, phone number, email address and anything you choose to send, such as photos and rough sizes of your windows.
- When you book a site measure: your address and unit number, the measurements and photos our consultant takes on site, and your product choices.
- When you buy: the details on your quote, invoice and installation records.
On this website, our quote and booking form collects what you type: your name, WhatsApp number, address, the system and openings you choose, your preferred visit date and any notes. We use it to arrange your free site measure and prepare your quote. It is saved in our website database and a copy is emailed to our sales inbox. To block spam, the form briefly counts submissions per visitor using a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for up to one hour. The price tool and the before-and-after tool otherwise run in your browser: photos you load into the before-and-after tool stay on your device and are never uploaded to us, and your quote choices (not your personal details) are remembered in your own browser so you can pick up where you left off. You can clear them by clearing your browser data. We use no advertising trackers or analytics. Our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
How we use it
- To reply to you, prepare quotes and arrange site measures and installations.
- To provide after-sales service and honour warranties.
- To keep the business records the law requires.
- To send you updates or offers, but only if you agree, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal data. We share it only when needed to serve you: with our installation team, with the service providers we use to run the business (such as WhatsApp, email hosting and our web host), and with authorities when the law requires it. Some of these providers may store data outside Malaysia; we use reputable providers that protect it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to follow up, and customer and warranty records for as long as the warranty applies and the law requires. After that we delete or anonymise them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. Contact us using the details below. We’ll reply within 21 days.
